About Us

The Edithvale Aspendale Sporting Club exists at the heart of our local community with our home, Regents Park, an inclusive centre of excellence from which we deliver our key operating pillars:  

• Contributing to a Healthier Community – Increase participation and physical activity for all sporting and non-sporting members, supported by a suite of engagement opportunities, support structures, and complimentary preventative health programs with partner organisations/service providers to help build a connected and healthier community.
• Community Sport and Volunteerism – Contribute directly to social cohesion that binds families, communities, clubs, and sporting codes, by delivering a facility and programs that provide connectiveness within and across the community and foster volunteerism as the cornerstone to the organisation.
• Education and Training – Provide sport specific and general education and training which is underpinned by robust curriculum and provides portability into professional and personal life.
• Talent Identification and Development – Identify talented athletes and prepare them for participation in domestic, national, and eventually international competition.
• Commercial Sustainability – Strategic positioning of EASC as a club of choice for members of the community and sporting disciplines, with contemporary governance/organisational structures which pursue alternative revenue streams and a sustainable commercial business model.
